Rapid Scan Techniques
Applus RTD offers a range of techniques designed to scan piping, tanks and pressure equipment for corrosion and other damage. Although designed for different applications and using different principles, they share common characteristics:- Able to survey long piping runs or whole vessels and tanks quickly with minimal surface preparation, insulation removal or access requirements.
- Non-intrusive and may be applied on-stream. The exception being heat exchanger and boiler tube inspection.
- Are often complemented by other techniques to quantify any damage detected. These characteristics taken together provide value in terms of time and cost saved compared to a full inspection using standard NDT techniques.
